Run for Geoff

Last June, my good friend Katie lost her Step Dad in a accident at Victoria Train Station. 

HEMS rapid response team were on the scene within 5 minutes and managed to resuscitate Geoff and transfer him to St. Mary's Hospital ITU but sadly his injuries were just too much and he passed away 4 days later with his family by his bedside.

Katie's family would like to thanks HEMS for all their hard work, dedication & care that they undertake on a daily basis and of course for giving Geoff's family the opportunity to say goodbye to him during this heartbreaking time.

The London 10K has always been close to Geoff's heart and since it's always around his Birthday at the end of May he always picked a member of the family to run it with him as part of his present (blackmail I know!!!). 

So this year both his Northern & Southern Families will be turning up in mass (Hopefully around 30 off us) to run the 10K in memory of Geoff and to thank HEMS.
