We're fundraising for...

Last June we tragically lost my Dad in an accident at Victoria Train Station. 

HEMS rapid response team were on the scene within 5 minutes and managed to resuscitate Dad and transfer him to St. Mary's Hospital ITU but sadly his injuries were just too much and he passed away 4 days later with his family by his bedside.

We would like to thanks HEMS for all their hard work, dedication & care that they undertake on a daily basis and of course for giving us as a family the opportunity to say goodbye to Dad during this heart-breaking time.

The London 10K has always been close to Dad's heart and since its always around his Birthday at the End of May he always picked a member of the Family to run it with him as part of his present ( Blackmail I know !!! ). 

So this year both his Northern & Southern Families & Friends will be turning up in mass ( Hopefully around 30 off us ) to run the 10K in memory of Dad and to thank HEMS. 

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
