Madhav Shankar works at Standard Chartered Bank in the City of London and became a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Tallow Chandlers in 2025. A banker by profession and a cricketer by passion, he spends many weekends representing Wimbledon Cricket Club and is always happiest on the cricket field, rather than hanging from the side of a building!
Freeman Madhav Shankar is joined by Master Helen Whelan, Consort Mike Whelan and Clerk Nel Doherty as the Tallow Chandlers take on this exciting fundraising challenge.
London's Air Ambulance Charity delivers an advanced trauma team to London's most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready whenever they are needed. Every minute counts after major trauma, and your generosity helps give patients the very best chance of survival and recovery.
