About the event

Take part in a full marathon, half marathon or a 10K walk, starting and finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January.

You can join the walk as an individual or as a team, or bring your whole family along! Pick up a free winter bobble hat and neck buff while you're there, take advantage of the rest stop snacks and end the walk with a special medal and hot food at the finish line.

Fundraising Options

As a charity partner, all London's Air Ambulance Charity fundraisers will receive an additional 50% off the registration fees below.

Option 1: charity sponsorship
You pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place.
•    10km: registration fee £15 / fundraising target £150
•    Half marathon: registration fee £20 / fundraising target £225
•    Full marathon: registration fee £30 / fundraising target £300

Option 2: Self funding
By paying the full cost of the event place, there’s no set fundraising target or deadline and there’s no cost to the charity. There’s also the additional option of 5km.
•    5km: registration fee £39
•    10km: registration fee £59
•    Half marathon: registration fee £75
•    Full marathon: registration fee £99

The Route

All three routes start and finish at The Oval Cricket Ground near Vauxhall.

Full marathon: This is a 26 mile (42 km) looped walk, starting and finishing at The Oval. The route heads east along the Thames with a rest stop at Southwark Park for a welcome hot drink and snacks. Then it’s back along the north bank of the Thames for lunch at The Oval. The second loop heads west – with a rest stop in Parsons Green – and back to The Oval for a loud finish line welcome.

Half marathon: There are two half marathon options – either heading east or west – which way will you go?

10km: The 10km looped route heads along the Thames through the heart of the capital.

If you have any questions about the event, or would like to discuss anything about taking part with London's Air Ambulance Charity, please contact Kirsty via email events@londonsairambulance.org.uk
