Rescheduled | 10th June 2023

Dearest Benefactors,

Unfortunately, the passing of Queen Elizabeth cancelled the original Abseil on 10th September 2022. It has been rescheduled to 10th June 2023. I will have just finished my second year exams! 

If any of you are in the area please feel free to come and watch, some time that afternoon!

Welcome! | I will be abseiling from the Royal London Hospital in aid of London's Air Ambulance

Hi Everyone,

My name is Rizwan, a first year medical student at Bart's and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. The Royal London Hospital, one of the medical school's main teaching hospitals, is home to London's Air Ambulance. The LAAS fleet of helicopters and rapid response vehicles allows for the provision of time sensitive advanced trauma care to the capital's most critically injured. Such care can be provided at the scene by the doctor on-board or during the journey to one of London's 4 major trauma centres.

The service is funded by charitable donations in its entirety, therefore your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most.
