Ricky Swartz

London's Air Ambulance Helipad Abseil June 2023

About Rick

I am a 27 year old student paramedic at the university of Greenwich and originally from Brighton and part of team SPOG (Student paramedics of greenwich)

On the 11/09/22 I will be taking part in an abseil with team SPOG from the Royal London hospital helipad, to raise money for London air ambulance.

Myself and some of the team are very passionate about emergency medicine with goals of hopefully joining the air ambulance at some point within our careers. This is a great opportunity to raise money for an amazing cause, which saves countless lives, as well as a great opportunity in getting an inside look at some of the equipment and facilities that London Air Ambulance use.

Thank you for taking your time to read this 🤙🏼

I'm Abseiling to help save lives in London

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity one the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
