Landed safely - done!

BIG thanks to everyone who has supported me here and the amazing team at London's Air Ambulance on Sunday, the abseil event from the helipad was brilliant, scary, breath-taking and amazing! So proud with many others to do a little bit for this amazing charity, by dangling down a rope 18 floors! Thank you! 

Helipad Abseil 2021!

Just heard the top news that our covid-delayed helipad abseil event has been re-scheduled for this September 2021! Massive thanks to everyone who pledged support last year - we're back on now! Looking forward to a rapid descent down to the ground, with lots of others to keep the red London's Air Ambulance helicopter in the air! And the PRU cars on the ground! Thanks everyone, more than half way to target before we got postponed... so all back on now! Can't wait.

Tim's Abseil Challenge for London's Air Ambulance

HI, I'm hoping to raise £300 this September for London’s Air Ambulance, joining teams abseiling from their helipad at Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel!

London's Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

Flying a helicopter from 08:00 to sunset, and rapid response cars at night or in adverse weather situations, they bring the hospital to the patient when time is critical, sending advanced trauma teams to London’s most seriously injured patients.

The team, consisting of an advanced trauma doctor, paramedic and consultant on most missions, can perform treatments such as open-heart surgery, blood transfusions and general anaesthetic by the roadside.
