Half marathon 15 years on...
15 years ago I attempted a Half Marathon without a care in the world, and ended up in Intensive Care...only alive thanks to the fantastic efforts of the Air Ambulance team in thames valley. I then went on to study medicine and carry on my life with a full recovery, with no further half marathons UNTIL now... none of which would have been possible without donations!
I now have an even deeper appreciation for the work the Air Ambulance (and London Air Ambulance) do and the importance of the service, you never know if you or your family will need them, be it in a race or out on the streets of London; so please donate!
