Helping Save Lives in London – One Step (or Abseil!) Outside My Comfort Zone
On 11 September, I'll be taking on a challenge that is definitely outside my comfort zone – abseiling from the 17th floor of The Royal London Hospital, home of London's Air Ambulance Charity.
London's Air Ambulance delivers an advanced trauma team to people who have suffered the most serious injuries across our city. Every day, they bring lifesaving expertise directly to patients when every second counts, helping to give them the best possible chance of survival and recovery.
As Baker McKenzie's London Charity partner, this is a cause that is close to our firm and one that I'm proud to support. For me personally, this challenge is about pushing myself beyond my comfort zone while raising money for an organisation that does extraordinary work every day.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps keep the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready to reach those who need them most.
