I'm supporting London's Air Ambulance Charity
In 2020, our family’s world changed in an instant.
Harley suffered a devastating accident when he fell from a first-storey building, landing directly on his head. Miraculously, the rest of his body escaped serious injury, but the damage to his skull was catastrophic. His skull was shattered into tiny pieces and he was placed into a coma for a long time as doctors fought to save his life, our hearts shattering too.
In those critical moments, the incredible London Air Ambulance team were there.
Their speed, skill, care and expertise gave Harley the very best chance of survival. Alongside the amazing teams at St Mary’s Hospital, they helped save his life. What followed was an unimaginably long and difficult road to recovery, countless operations, blood transfusions, physiotherapy sessions, hospital appointments and rehabilitation.
Through every setback and challenge, Harley has shown unbelievable courage, determination and strength.
Today, thanks to those lifesaving people and his fighting spirit, he is still with us.
Now, he wants to give something back.
To thank the heroes who helped save his life, we are hosting a special fundraising day in support of London Air Ambulance, helping them continue their incredible work and helping other families who may one day face a situation like ours.
This will be a fun-filled family fundraising day on the 25/07/2026 starting at 14:30pm at our local pub The Partridge, bringing together friends, family and the local community for a great cause. Throughout the day there will be activities for everyone to enjoy, including raffles, face painting, food, games and more. In the evening, we’ll host a darts tournament led by Harley himself, something close to his heart and a way for him to celebrate how far he has come, and the big 30!!
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support the lifesaving work of London Air Ambulance and means more to our family than words can say.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting this cause, supporting survivors like Harley, and supporting the extraordinary people who dedicate their lives to saving others.
