Katie Hall

TCS London Marathon 2027

We are running the London Marathon 2027 with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team.

Last June Katie was hit by a stolen car whilst driving back home from a patients house during her NHS shift.  Katie’s injuries were so severe that the London Air Ambulance attended the scene. They were able to perform a leg saving procedure on the side of the road, help with stabilisation of her condition and accompanied her to the hospital.  Chloe got to the site of the crash and got to see the amazing work that the HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medics) did.

Katie broke 9 bones and had 3 surgeries to repair the worst of the fractures.  After a prolonged period of recovery and lengthy rehab, she is attempting to run the marathon and raise money for this amazing charity as a way of saying thank you.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
