London’s Air Ambulance can reach any patient in London within 11 minutes. Time is critical in trauma care - this speed saves lives. The service treats an average of 5 seriously injured people every day; from road traffic collisions to stabbings, they respond to London's most urgent incidents.
The Air Ambulance is a charity, not an NHS service. The helicopters, pilots, and trauma doctors are funded by donations, not taxes, and each mission costs around £2,500. Your donation directly funds life-saving equipment, fuel, and medics.
They perform hospital-level treatments at the scene, including open heart surgery and blood transfusions. Without donations, the helicopters stop flying. You could help save someone's life.
