We are helping save lives in London
PRU runs the Hackney Half Marathon.
We are all lucky enough to work for / support the Physician Response Unit, part of London's Air Ambulance, taking the emergency department out of hospital and to the patients of North East London in rapid response cars. The service allows patients to access Emergency Health care at the point of need, often reaching the most vulnerable and providing excellent, patient-centred care. Our close-knit team trains and works hard together, and now we have decided to run together to support this great charity that lets us do a job we love.
We are proud to be part of and work alongside the wider London's Air Ambulance Charity, another branch of which delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients.
Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury or medical emergency, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life.
