Why I'm fundraising for London's Air Ambulance Charity (and why you should donate!)
I’m running the London Marathon to raise money for London’s Air Ambulance so that they can continue to rapidly respond to the most severely injured people around London.
A London Air Ambulance crew picked up my dad within minutes of him being knocked off his bike by an e-scooter in April 2022 which resulted in spinal fractures, and both spinal cord and brain injuries.
If it wasn’t for their rapid response time and the work that they did stabilising him on the roadside before transfer to hospital, he wouldn’t have made and continue to be making great progress in his recovery.
I'm running to help save lives in London
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2025 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.

You can do it!
