26.2 Miles for Mark.
In April I will me running the London Marathon in memory of my cousin Mark Pell who we tragically lost in a road traffic accident whilst on duty with the London Ambulance last year.
Mark had a heart of gold, he was one of lifes true heros, he lived his life for others and its because of Marks selfless living that so many people are here today
Not a day goes by where I do not think about Mark, his tragic untimely death has left a enormous hole in a our family and the emergency services far too big to comprehend,
Running the london marathon will not bring Mark back but I hope that the money raised will help to continue his life saving legacy.
Our story with the air ambulance ended in heartache but what they did do is give us some short lived hope in the darkest time and a chance to say goodbye
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2023 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
