LLA Charity Event

On September 6th, 2024, CIS Account Manager, Tom Walsh will participate in London’s Air Ambulance Helipad Abseil.

Tom will be part of the abseil team descending The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel from 17 floors up. The free hang aspect (no body contact with the wall!) adds to the sense of exhilaration as he experiences the East London skyline from a whole new angle.

CIS is proud of its ongoing support for the LAA, collaborating on numerous events such as charity runs, the Big City Collection, internal initiatives (such as the Bring Your Dog to Work Day), charity abseils, football tournaments, and our annual donation presentation.

London’s Air Ambulance is a charity that works alongside the NHS. Using a helicopter, the LAA is there to reach those urgently in need of life-saving care. Their vision is ‘to end preventable deaths in London from life-threatening injuries and their mission is ‘to save more lives in London through rapid response and cutting-edge care’, performing potentially life-saving procedures.

Any donation, large or small, will be gratefully received and contribute to the LAA’s life-saving work.

I'm Abseiling to help save lives in London

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity one the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
