My why
In 2019, at 21, I moved from Australia to London as a newly qualified paramedic, leaving behind family, friends and everything I knew to start a new chapter on the other side of the world.
Early in my career, I learned about London’s Air Ambulance and quietly set my sights on becoming part of the team. Seven years of hard work, sacrifice, long shifts and stepping outside my comfort zone later, I was fortunate enough to be offered a position as a HEMS Paramedic.
Working for London’s Air Ambulance means being there for people on some of the worst days of their lives. It’s about delivering the best possible clinical care while supporting patients and families through moments they never expected to face. Being trusted to do that is something I’ll never take for granted.
London has given me a career, lifelong friendships and a place to call home. Supporting London’s Air Ambulance Charity is my way of giving something back to the city and community that has given me so much.

I'm running to help save lives in London
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
