I'm running to help save lives in London
I'm running the London Marathon - my first ever marathon - to raise money for the London’s Air Ambulance.
I have been fascinated with the Air Ambulance since my Mum worked for the dedicated ICU ward in the 90s, thankful for the life saving support it provides to fellow Londoners every day. Despite being the city's advanced trauma team, they rely on donations to keep the service running.
After a mission has been confirmed, it takes just 4 minutes for the team to be airborne and on route to London’s most seriously injured patients.
Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
