I'm running to help save lives in London

In January 2024, the London's Air Ambulance crew saved my mum's life. It's impossible to put into words just how grateful I am that London's Air Ambulance exists. 

London's Air Ambulance is a charity that carries out, on average, five life-saving missions per day. Each life-saving mission costs around £2208. Almost all of London's Air Ambulance's funding (around 96%) comes from public donations. 

Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopters in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. Many people think the main purpose of London's Air Ambulance helicopters is to take patients from the scene of an incident and fly them to the nearest hospital. Actually, the main role of the helicopters is to bring their advanced trauma team to a patient's side as quickly and as safely as possible to enable the patient to receive the specialised care they would get in hospital at the scene of the incident. By providing intervention as soon as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2025 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. If you're able to give anything at all, please help me save more lives in London.
