I'm Running to Help Save Lives — Supporting London Air Ambulance
I am so excited to share that I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of London's Air Ambulance Charity — and I would love your help to make it count.
London's Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London's most seriously injured patients. What many people do not realise is that this incredible service receives no direct government funding — it relies entirely on the generosity of people like you to keep going. Every donation helps to keep the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready to reach those who need them most. By providing life-saving intervention as quickly as possible after injury, the charity gives patients the very best chance of survival — and the best possible quality of life after trauma.
Running a half marathon is no small feat, but it is nothing compared to the courage shown by the patients, families, and crew that London's Air Ambulance supports every single day. Every step I take will be worth it if it helps keep this vital, charity-funded service going.
