An Essential Cause

The London Air Ambulance saves an average of 5 people per day, highly trained doctors, consultants and paramedics provide advanced pre-hospital care to those who urgently need it - even performing open heart surgery on scene. However both of the London air ambulances will soon be unfit to fly. 

The helicopters are not paid for through the NHS, government or national lottery - purely through charitable donations to the London Air Ambulance charity.

I am solo free fall abseiling from the tallest helipad in Europe to raise money and awareness for this cause, without sufficient funding they will be unable to replace their helicopters and continue to provide essential support. The air ambulance assists all members of the public, one day, this could potentially be your loved one. 

100% of donations go to the London Air Ambulance Charity (I am covering the cost of the abseil). Every donation, even small, adds up and makes a difference. In addition to this your donation can be topped up with gift aid at no extra cost to you. When you see an air ambulance flying above you can smile knowing you're helping it be up there :))

I'm Abseiling to help save lives in London

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity one the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
