Why London's Air Ambulance
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
On Friday 6th September 2024 I will be abseiling from the Helipad on the roof of The Royal London Hospital, raising money for London's Air Ambulance Charity.
I chose this charity because of the fantastic lifesaving service they provide, having witnessed this myself when my Daughter Charlotte fractured her pelvis in a horse riding accident. The Air Ambulance landed in a valley away from the road and after stabilising her, flew her in a matter of minutes to the Royal London Hospital. Following a short stay in hospital Charlotte made a full recovery, and the response, care and speedy transfer to hospital provided by London's Air Ambulance without doubt contributed to her recovery.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity one the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
