I'm running to help save lives in London...
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients - performing life-saving medical procedures at the roadside.
In the industry I work in, we are often exposed to the devastating consequences of serious accidents and the life-changing injuries that can result. We also see, first-hand, the importance of the emergency services, and the difference that immediate, specialist medical treatment at the roadside can make when every second matters most. London’s Air Ambulance Charity plays a vital role in this in our country's capital, essentially bringing the hospital to the patient and delivering lifesaving care to people when they need it most.
The charity responds to an average of six patients every day, providing critical emergency medical intervention across London. What many people may not realise is that London’s Air Ambulance is a charity, and around two-thirds of Londoners don’t even know this. That makes fundraising and raising awareness all the more important and is why I have chosen to run the London Marathon for such an outstanding cause.
Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing specialist intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
