I'm Abseiling to help save lives in my home city of London!

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your valued donation, large or small (it all counts) will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I have witnessed first hand the incredible efforts of the Air Ambulance team, the landing of the helicopter, the dashing of the medical team to the nearby car accident to provide expert medical aid and when stable, to then airlift the crash victim to the London Hospital for further treatment.  

As a long-term resident of London, I am passionate about the service the London Air Ambulance provides in this busy city.  To aid their cause, I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity on the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel at 9.30am on 8 September 2024.
