We are Abseiling to help save lives in London.
The 26th August 2022 was another ordinary Friday until that dreadful phone call from Matthew's partner Kate. Matthew had been involved in a road accident. While we were trying to process what had happened, the London Air Ambulance team had intercepted the 999 call and made the decision to dispatch their helicopter. Matthew was in a critical condition having suffered a serious brain injury. The doctor and paramedics put Matthew into a medically induced coma and flew him back to the Royal London Hospital, where the amazing doctors and nurses worked day and night to keep him stabilised. He remained in a coma for over 2 weeks and in hospital for over 4 months.Please donate what you can.
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
We will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity on the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
