I'm Abseiling to help save lives in London
Firstly I would like to thank you for visiting this page today.
I am very grateful and proud to be part of the A&E department at the Royal London Hospital, that provides and delivers expert care to trauma patients at their most critical point. However these patients often wouldn’t even reach the department if it wasn’t for the expertise of the London Air Ambulance! Our team works hand in hand with the them to provide an efficient and rapid response to the most unwell major trauma patients.
The air ambulance relies heavily on charity to function, and it is vital there is funding to keep the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road. Their ability to respond quickly and always being ready for when they are needed means they give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life after trauma.
By working closely with the doctors and crew I am able to appreciate the daily struggles that the London's Air ambulance goes through when responding to trauma and major incidents across the city and how important their team is in treating almost 2000 seriously unwell patients per year.
As a fellow healthcare professional it is hard to see my colleagues struggling, this is why I have decided to do by bit to help. So I plead with you to support me in my goal to raise £300 by abseiling from the 17th floor to support London's Air ambulance!!

Well done Mariana!!
