I'm Abseiling to help save lives in London

I am lucky enough to work as a nurse in the Physician Response Unit, part of London's Air Ambulance, taking the emergency department out of the hospital and to the patients of North East London. The service allows patients to access Emergency Health care, often reaching the most vulnerable and providing excellent, patient-centred care.

The London’s Air Ambulance Charity had a massive impact on my career development by facilitating a scholarship program in cooperation with the Company of Nurses. This scholarship made it possible to join the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) Masters Programme in Prehospital Medicine. The programme allowed me to develop new knowledge and skills associated with the prehospital setting. Thank you again for all your support in helping make this a reality!

I am proud to be part of and work alongside the wider London's Air Ambulance Charity, another branch of which delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients.

Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury or medical emergency, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life.
