Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026

I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for London's Air Ambulance

I'm not fundraising for a cause I read about, I'm fundraising for one I lived.

As a former HEMS doctor with London's Air Ambulance, I worked alongside this incredible team delivering critical care to some of the most seriously injured people in the capital. I've been in the car racing through London's streets. I've knelt beside patients in those first vital minutes when the difference between life and death comes down to having the right team, with the right skills, in the right place, fast.

That experience changed me. I saw what this charity makes possible: a trauma team that reaches patients within minutes, performing interventions on scene that would normally only happen in a hospital. I also had the privilege of contributing to research aimed at improving trauma outcomes across London, work that continues to shape how we save lives today.

London's Air Ambulance doesn't receive government funding for its helicopter or rapid response cars. It relies on people like you. Every donation helps keep that helicopter in the air and those cars on the road, so the next person who needs them isn't left waiting.

I'll be running 13.1 miles through London's parks on race day. But the real distance that matters is the one between a patient and the team that can save their life. Your support helps close that gap.

Please donate whatever you can. Every pound counts, and sharing this page helps just as much. Thank you.
