London's Air Ambulance Helipad Abseil 2024

I'm Abseiling to raise money for London Air Ambulance and to celebrate Paul's 1st re-birthday

On Thursday 7th September 2023 my partner, Paul, suffered an out of hospital cardiac arrest whilst at work. Thanks to the incredible bravery of his colleagues who immediately began CPR and the swift intervention and skill of the emergency services including the rapid response paramedics and London's Air Ambulance, Paul survived. Without this amazing service Paul would almost certainly have been one of the 92% that do not survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest.

There are no words that can express the gratitude that Paul, myself, our family and friends have for all those involved that day but by raising funds we contribute to keeping this vital service operating and able to save many more lives.

On Saturday 7 September 2024 - coincidentally Paul's first "re-birthday" - one year to the day since the London Air Ambulance team saved Paul's life, I will abseil from the helipad at the Royal London Hospital to raise money for this fantastic Charity.  Very grateful for any amount you are able to donate to help this cause.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity one the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
