Leena's Freefall Abseil from the highest rooftop helipad in Europe, for London's Air Ambulance - Sat 7th Sept 2024!
Hello lovely people!
I will be freefall abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity on the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
The location of this special Charity and event also has some significance in my life, as my late beloved father spent many months being looked after by the various amazing teams at The Royal London Hospital. So it will be somewhat nostalgic (and odd) being on the other side of the windows as I make my descent! :)
