I'm running the London Marathon to help save lives in London
As many of you know I work in one of London's Major Trauma centres in Critical Care. We often receive patients from the London Air Ambulance and without them, many of our patients wouldn't be here today and able to begin their rehabilitation journey after what is often a traumatic event.
Another perk which you might not know, is we often use the helipad roof to take patients on to enjoy the view! This if often their first time outside in weeks.
This will be my first ever marathon and a giant training feat so I would love your support to drive me to complete this challenge!
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2023 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
