Why I'm doing this
I’ve decided to take on this charity abseil to raise money for a cause that has become incredibly meaningful to me.
Earlier this year, I was involved in assisting at a serious road traffic accident where I became one of the first responders at the scene. A young boy involved in the accident needed urgent medical attention, and the London Air Ambulance team arrived to stabilise them before transporting them to a London hospital for life-saving treatment.
Seeing first-hand the incredible work these teams do, and knowing that their skills, speed, and dedication can make the difference between life and death, left a lasting impact on me.
The London Air Ambulance relies on charitable support to continue providing this vital service. They bring specialist emergency care directly to people when every second counts, and I want to do my part to help them continue saving lives.
This abseil will push me outside of my comfort zone, but it is nothing compared to the challenges faced by the patients, families, and medical teams who rely on this service every day.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, will help support this incredible charity and the work they do. Thank you for helping me give something back to the people who are there when we need them most.
I will be abseiling 70m off the London Air Ambulance HQ
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers the most advanced trauma assistance to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity on the 17th Floor of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
