Two years ago you kindly donated to my fundraiser for London Air Ambulance!It was a very fun time, but the initial descend down the top 3 floors was frightening & so I focused on a soothing view of Whitechapel Sainsburys...
By floor 12, I had a right jolly time waving to patients in their bed as I slowly spin and try/fail to dance mid air
On the ground, it was also amazing to learn more about the life-saving care London Air Ambulance provide to the most critically injured patients (who can't afford to wait for standard ambulance care). I witnessed a helicopter land & the advanced trauma clinical team exit into the hospital.
Demand for the service is at "the highest ever level" & the majority of funding is from fundraising & donations alone.

I'm Abseiling to help save lives in London
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
Air Ambulance serve the 10 million people that live work and travel within the M25, treating an average of five patients every day. The most common incidents they attend include road traffic collisions, stabbings and shootings, falls from height and incidents on the rail network.
I will be abseiling from the home of London's Air Ambulance Charity, from the 17th floor of the The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel to help raise important funds.
