I'm fundraising in memory of our beloved brother, Ian, and raising money for…
London’s Air Ambulance. It is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. They helped Ian and supported us as a family in one of our darkest times. Their help and care for us, especially their continued listening ear, has been an ongoing source of really important support for us since Ian died. Your donation will help keep that support going for other families, as well as saving more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
On 11th October, I will be running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon for London's Air Ambulance Charity. Ian will be laughing at me, wherever he is, for doing this in his memory but those chuckles and shaking shoulders of his will help me get through the miles! Well, I’m hoping so, anyway!! 😂
