Hello All, 

My name is Jackson Parkin - I am a student paramedic and I myself at the age of 14 got into a burns accident where 20% of my body was burnt at partial thickness level with oil. In that moment I relied on the public services such as fire, ambulance and advanced paramedics. It was in that moment that I was able to understand the extent of the services that they provide. London’s Air Ambulance charity depends on the publics help and donations to continue to give life saving treatment, please support such a great cause and wish me luck as I am baffled I am even running a marathon in the first place. 

Never did I ever expected to actually be running a marathon but I would be absolutely stupid to turn the opportunity down. Please share the fundraising link around to raise some money for such an important charity. On the worst days of people’s lives the air ambulance charity help those who need it the most, you never know when you or your family would need their services. Let’s raise some money and pray I get skinny whilst training for this monstrosity of a run!

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
