A massive thank you to Stephen Smith at Silony Medical Ltd for their donation and making it possible to reach my fundraising target  and giving me the opportunity to run the London Marathon 

London Air Ambulance saves lives

It has been a dream of mine to run the London Marathon for as long as I can remember, after 13 years of being unsuccessful I have finally got a place. 

I am running for the London Air Ambulance, not through a deep personal reason but because I work alongside the London Air Ambulance and see first hand the amazing work that they do. I work in Royal London Hospital, a major trauma centre , where we receive the most critically ill patients from the London Air Ambulance. Without their care and speed patient outcomes are worse and lives are lost. 

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2025 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
