Every Second Counts : My Road to the 2027 London Marathon
Welcome to my fundraising page!
In April 2027, I will be lining up at the start of the (Double) TCS London Marathon. As an avid marathon runner, my personal goal is to cross the finish line as fast as possible to secure a qualification for the prestigious Boston Marathon. I will be logging hundreds of kilometers and wearing out quite a few pairs of running shoes to shave precious minutes off my time.
However, I wanted this race to mean something more than just a personal athletic challenge.
That is why I chose to run for the London's Air Ambulance Charity. While I race against the clock for a personal achievement, their medical teams race against the clock every single day to save lives. They deliver rapid response critical care by helicopter to the most severely injured patients across London. For them, every second saved isn't a personal best—it's a matter of survival.
By donating to this page, you are directly helping to keep their helicopters flying and their emergency teams operating. Your support will give a much deeper purpose to every kilometer I run during my preparation.
Thank you so much for your generosity!

I'm running to help save lives in London
Time is a highly relative concept.
In my preparation for the 2027 London Marathon, my relationship with time comes down to a specific demand : crossing the finish line as fast as possible to secure a qualification for the Boston Marathon. It is an intense athletic challenge—thousands of kilometers of preparation and dozens of shoes, just to shave a few minutes off on the asphalt. But it remains a personal battle, and ultimately, a luxury.
For the London's Air Ambulance Charity, the relationship with time is radically different. For their crews, every second saved is not a personal best or an athletic goal. It is a matter of survival.
This is why I have chosen to run this marathon in their colors. This organization deploys emergency medical teams by helicopter to deliver critical care directly to the scenes of the most severe accidents across London. They intervene when every minute counts and waiting is simply not an option.
Linking my race against the clock to their life-saving urgency gives a much deeper meaning to this preparation. If you wish to support their work and give a little more weight to every kilometer I am about to run, my fundraising page is open.
Thank you in advance for your support.
I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
