I'm running the 2024 TCS London Marathon to help save lives in London
Hello! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm running the TCS London Marathon in April 2024 and am fundraising for London's Air Ambulance.
I was surprised when I found out that London's Air Ambulance are a completely charity-funded organisation. They are the charity that deliver an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Being a charity, this means that helicopter transfers, or any other work that the Air Ambulance carry out, are not funded by the NHS or the government!
Working at both King's College Hospital and The Royal London Hospital, I see the vital work they undertake every day. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
Please donate whatever you can to help support truly life saving work, who are there for all Londoners at their most vulnerable and life-threatening times of need.
