I'm running to help save lives in London
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2024 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.

On the 5th January, we were invited to the home of London's Air Ambulance. This service is offered to families to meet the team who were there at the scene and hear the treatment given on the night.
We met with John (Doctor) and Johnny (Specialist Paramedic) who treated George. Although listening to George’s injuries was harrowing and upsetting, it gave us some clarity as to what actually happened on the night. Others looking on would say George was just another patient to John and Johnny, but we would now argue he most definitely was not. They showed us how they cared, their dedication and compassion, which we will be forever grateful for. They did everything they could to try and save George which gave us, family and friends more time to say our goodbyes. We will always be thankful for this
and will never forget them.
We learnt so much about the incredible service and rapid medical care, only they can provide.
Their role is to get their advanced trauma team to a patient’s side as quickly and as safely as possible, so that they can provide the complex care patients would get in hospital, at the scene. They can provide procedures such as; open heart surgery and blood transfusions etc.
In 2024, the helicopters need replacing, which will cost £15 million. 96% of their income is from charitable donations and without our support, they can’t raise the money. This is why we want to raise as much money as possible for London's Air Ambulance 🩵
