I'm fundraising for... Grandad John x

The air ambulance not only holds a huge place in mine and my families hearts, but it’s also the reason I’ve been able to grow up with my grandad alongside me.

In October 2003, my Grandad was involved in a motorbike accident which left him with life threatening injuries. This accident completely changed his life, he had to learn how to do everything again. He was given less than 2% chance of survival. To this day, his injuries still affect his everyday life, but he still manages to go to work, drive, spend time with his grandchildren and without the London Air Ambulance, I probably would have grown up without my Grandad by my side. 

He’s my biggest inspiration, and it would be a privilege to complete the London Marathon in honour of him. 

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2023 running with the London's Air Ambulance Charity Team. Please give what you can to help save lives in London.
