Please help me reach my £2500 target

Running For Harvey Tyrrell

On Sunday 25th of April 2027 I will be taking part in the London Marathon, where I will be raising money for a charity very close to me and my family - the London Air Ambulance.

The London Air Ambulance is a charity that is particularly close to my heart due to a very personal experience my family had in 2018. That year, we sadly lost Harvey Tyrrell at just 7 years old. Harvey was the little brother that I never had. We grew up together, played together and shared the same love for football. We would play for hours on end and I can still say to this day, that they were some of the best memories of my life. Losing Harvey at such a young age was devastating and absolutely heartbreaking, however it taught me a lesson that I will live by - treat everyday as if it is your last. Harvey will never know the feeling of growing up and experiencing life, which is what we all take for granted. So therefore I am taking this opportunity to complete something in his name!

 Although we were ultimately faced with a loss that no one wanted, seeing the incredible work of the Air Ambulance first-hand showed me just how important their service is and the difference they can make when someone is in a critical situation.

Taking part in this marathon is incredibly special to me, not only because of the personal challenge of running such a huge distance, but because I am running for a cause that is so close to my heart. 

Knowing that every mile I run and every donation raised can help support such an important service gives the whole experience an even deeper meaning.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
