Running for my Dad
After years of addiction and now being 2 years sober, I have decided as part of my journey to run a half marathon in memory of Dad, who sadly passed away in a tragic crash.I have chosen London air ambulance due to there amazing work and assistance in landing their helicopter in a near by field in the dead of the night cutting through fences to get to my dad as fast as possible and rush him to the nearest specialist hospital, the air ambulance at the time was piloted by non other than prince william unfortunately my dad didn’t make it, but there quick actions gave me and my family enough time to get to the hospital to say our goodbyes which I am forever grateful for.

By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
