I'm running for London's Air Ambulance..
London’s Air Ambulance Charity delivers an advanced trauma team straight to the scene of the most serious emergencies in our city. They rely on donations to keep their helicopter in the air and their rapid response cars on the road. As someone who lives in London, and with a close friend working for the charity, this cause feels especially important to me. By reaching patients as quickly as possible after injury, the charity aims to give them the best chance of survival and the best quality of life after trauma.
I am running the TCS London Marathon 2026 for their charity team. I have rarely run beyond a 5k, so this will be a proper challenge, but I am excited to have finally got a place after years of trying in the ballot. Any donation, big or small, will help get me through the training runs, the inevitable sore legs, and will push me even harder in preparation and on the big day. It will make such a difference in helping to keep this specialist trauma service going.
