I'm Abseiling to help save lives in London
This years birthday was a tough one, whilst my Dad is currently in hospital receiving extensive treatment for his cancer, it was difficult to celebrate. It reminded me how life is so precious, you have to live each day as if it is your last and really make the most of the time that we have with those we love. This is why I have decided to not only live to the fullest, but face my biggest fears whilst doing so, all to raise money for an amazing charity!
On Sunday 17th September, I will be abseiling 284ft (17 floors up) off The London Air Ambulance’s helipad at The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. 🚁❤️
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma. Using a helicopter from 08:00 to sunset and rapid response vehicles by night, the service performs advanced medical interventions at the scene of the incident in life-threatening, time-critical situations. It costs approximately £9 million to provide London with an advanced trauma care service 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, so fundraising is crucial and every single donation helps.
Please help me reach my £1000 target, face my biggest fears and hopefully make my Dad proud! Every donation is greatly appreciated ❤️
