Why I'm fundraising for London Air Ambulance

Hi everyone, 

I just wanted to write a little about how I ended up raising money for the London Air Ambulance and why I think you should donate at least £500 each :).

So I woke up on the 31st Jan in a somewhat difficult mood. It is the tax deadline day so lots of work to be done from my lazy clients and I had an appointment with my GI consultant at the hospital.

On the way to the hospital I found out that tragically my grandpa passed away during the night, he was 91 and had led a great life. For those that know him a huge part of his life was dedicated to charitable causes and in this way (and many more) I have always admired him. 

Once I arrived at the hospital for my appointment there was a man on the door collecting money for the air ambulance. I decided that it was fate that I should give some money. I tried to give him some cash but he wouldn't accept donations and I had to sign up on the ipad which took a few minutes. I still wasn't in the mood to talk about my grandpa so we talked about where the helipads were and I mentioned that I had once done a charity abseil off guy's tower. Lo and behold he pointed me to this charity abseil and it was surely a swing of destiny that I must do this for my late grandpa. 

Please give what you can or spread the word. There are so many tragic events happening all around and just a small amount will go a long way to save those patients in critical care.
