From a young age I would see and hear the distinctive sound of the Air Ambulance helicopter travelling back and forth over Tower Hamlets.
In more recent times, I quietly salute the Advanced Trauma team as they travel by air and road to attend to the most seriously injured patients.
I'd like to play my small part by cycling 55 miles and raising £300 for the London’s Air Ambulance charity.
Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most.
By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
