Blisters, bikes and Brighton: Please help me support London's Air Ambulance

Let's be honest, cycling 54 miles (around 88km for my fellow metric system fans) from London to Brighton sounds like a great idea until you actually have to do it. Despite my regular running and gym sessions, my legs are already protesting, and the thought of the hills is a special kind of dread. But I'm not just doing this for a personal challenge; I'm doing it for a much more important cause—and to challenge a friend.

One of my goals is to tail Tom Denis all the way to Brighton. I'm sure his cycling expertise and moral support will be a lifesaver, especially when I hit the infamous Ditchling Beacon. Hopefully tagging along to Tom's pace will make me feel like I'm a part of a breakaway group at the Tour de France. My real motivation, however, is to support the incredible London's Air Ambulance Charity.

This is more than just an ambulance service; it's a flying trauma team that brings an advanced medical crew directly to London's most seriously injured patients. They provide life-saving care on the scene, giving people the best possible chance of survival and a better quality of life after a devastating injury. Your donation helps keep their helicopters in the air and their rapid response cars on the road, ensuring they're ready to respond to a trauma call at a moment's notice.
