I'm running the London Marathon!
On New Year's Day 2021 my Dad was out running when he was hit by a speeding car that had mounted the pavement. Thanks to the swift arrival of London's Air Ambulance team and the advanced procedures that they were able to perform at the roadside, he survived to make the journey to hospital. He is mostly recovered from his terrible injuries but it's a testament to his unbelievable determination and strength how far he has come, considering the severity of the accident. There are still lasting effects that have changed his life forever and memories that will unfortunately last a lifetime.

The immense gratitude I feel for the LAA is something no words or amount of money will ever be able to reflect, but I feel that doing my part to fundraise and raise awareness is one way to repay them.
I completed the half marathon last year which was my first running event, and it’s safe to say I LOVED it - the vibe and energy was unbeatable and I knew that day that I wanted to do the full marathon next time. So here I am!
