My reason for supporting the London Air Ambulance
I’ll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April to show my continuing support for the London Air Ambulance, after they deployed to assist my son Daniel in 2021.
Having had the privilege of meeting the LAA team and hear first-hand about their work, I am even more determined to do what I can to raise funds, to help replace their helicopters, so they can continue to deliver hospital level care directly to patients, when they need it the most.
Because, as we found out, you never know when you or your family will need their assistance.
Any support you could provide will be very much appreciated as I attempt to undertake this challenge, especially as I’m still recovering from my bike vs bus accident in July.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
