I'm supporting London's Air Ambulance Charity
In April this year, the PRU expanded to a two-team operation with the launch of a second vehicle. The service now runs from 0830 to 2300 seven days a week and has formed a vital part of the capital’s Covid19 response, establishing new ways of working to provide care for more patients in their own homes.
As part of this expansion, we urgently need to replace existing kit bags which are falling apart. New medical bags will be tailored to our team’s needs and will be longer-lasting. They are vital to the day-to-day running of the service.
From Emergency Back Packs to Maternity bags, our teams require 13 different bags, to deliver hospital-level care to people in their homes or anywhere in the community. We need three of each to equip both PRU teams and for extra resilience and training.
